When it comes to off-road biking, 12-year-old Kaiden Trudel Whan is no stranger to success! With so many trophies in so many BMX competitions, it’s no wonder that Kaiden is well on his way to championship status. This weekend was a winning one for Kaiden; On Friday June 29th, he won first place at the Race For Life. On Saturday June 30th he came in second at the Gold Cup qualifier and placed first over all in the provincial qualifiers in Gananoque. Kaiden also placed first in the Kingston provincial qualifiers on Sunday July 1st. Kaiden is currently leading in the points race for his age group of 12-year-old novices and just last weekend Kaiden was in Milton, Ontario finishing 2nd in his first ever qualifier. With two more victories Kaiden will move up to the intermediate division and on August 1st he will be competing in the nation’s capital and Nepean Ontario, for the final qualifiers for the national championship. Surplus Furniture & Mattress is extremely proud to sponsor Kaiden Trudal Whan & Kingston BMX Racing Club. We wish them continued success as they bike their way to the top. *Pictured in the Kingston Ontario store with sales staff Bryan Colicchio (L) and Andrea Bolton (R)
