How do I add items to my cart?
Adding items to your cart is fast and easy. Simply enter the quantity you wish to order and click “Add to Cart” from any product page. Once items are added to your cart, you can either select “Check Out” to proceed with payment or select “Continue Shopping” if you choose to add more items to your cart. How do I check out?
After placing items into your shopping cart, simply click on the shopping cart icon, and select “Check Out”. Once selected, you will be taken into the check-out process.
Can I place an order using my phone?
We are only accepting online orders or orders done at the store at this time.
How can I find out if a product is sold in-store or online?
All items shown online are sold in store. For inventory details, please speak with a local sales associate for further details.
Do you offer rainchecks on products that are out of stock?
Unfortunately, we cannot offer rainchecks on items that are sold out. However, please check with the store to find out when the items will be available.
How Do I Create An Online Account?
It’s fast and easy. Just go to our Customer Login webpage and click “Create An Account”, where you will be prompted to enter your email address along with a secure password. Once you click “Confirm”, you will receive an email confirming your account setup. If you don’t receive this email confirmation, please check your spam folder as the emails sometimes get caught in this folder.
How do I Access My Online Account?
To access your account, go to our Customer Login webpage where you will be prompted to enter your email address along with your secure password to gain access.
I forgot my password, how do I request a new one?
Go to the Customer Login webpage and click “Forgot my password” located next to the “Sign In” button. Enter your email address and we will send you your Surplus Furniture password.
How do I order online?
As you browse our huge selection of brand name furniture at warehouse prices, simply click “Add to Cart” for any items you intend to purchase. Once you are ready to place your order, simply click on the shopping cart icon in the top right corner, where you will find your selection waiting for purchase. Review your order and click “proceed to check out”. Once you confirm the store pick up address, along with your email address and billing information, your order will be ready for pick up 1 hour after your payment confirmation. It’s that easy to save on brand name furniture.
What payment methods do you accept?
"Surplus Furniture accepts Visa and Mastercard online. In-Store, we accept Cash, Debit, Visa, Mastercard, Money Orders and Certified Cheques. Because we are not able to validate card details, we cannot accept credit cards issued outside of Canada.
Can I send someone else pick up my order?
For online orders, once you have made your purchase, you will receive an email confirmation of your order. We will require this email confirmation along with your ID in order to release your furniture. If someone is picking up your order on your behalf, they must bring your order confirmation email.
Curbside pickup?
Yes, come to the store.
Can I change my pick-up location after I placed an order?
Unfortunately we cannot change pick-up locations once the order has been placed. If you have any concerns regarding your pick-up location, please contact our help desk for details and options.
Can I buy at one location, but pick up at another location?
For online orders, please ensure your home store is set to the same location you are intending to pick-up your furniture at. Once the order is complete, we cannot change the pick-up location. If you have any concerns regarding your pick-up location, please contact our help desk for further details. Speak to a store associate and they will be able to purchase from other store locations based on their local pricing.
What identification do I need to bring with me to pick up my order?
Once you have made your purchase, you will receive an email confirmation of your order. We will require this email confirmation along with your ID in order to release your furniture. Additional steps for security may be required while picking up your order.
I ordered but can’t pick up for a while. How long will the store hold my order?
Once your order is processed, you have up to 96 hours to pick-up. If you need longer, please go to your local store for assistance.
What happens if the items selected aren’t available in store?
Sometimes, technology does fail and for this we do apologize. If this happens, please speak to a sales associate for details.
Can I cancel my online order?
Once you place your order, you will receive an order confirmation email along with pickup store location. Please contact the store for assistance and details on cancellations. Please note, only orders that have not been picked up or modified in-store and meet the return criteria are eligible.
I’m not near a store, can I order online and ship to my home?
If you require home delivery for your purchase, please contact the pickup store location for assistance. Surplus Furniture does have third party vendors that can help with home delivery. Delivery fees are set by the third party vendor and are paid directly to the vendor at time of delivery.
What is your return policy?
All sales are final. However if you discover concealed damage you have up to 72 hours to report it. Just contact the store pick-up location for details.
How do I unsubscribe from your email list?
If you would like your name removed from our active records, you may go to your Account and click "edit my email preferences ". Alternatively, you can

Can I apply discounts/promo codes to my pick up order?
Yes, if we have a valid promotion code or offer you may enter this code at checkout to receive the discount.
Where do I go to pick up my order?
Visit the store you selected and that appears on your order confirmation. Once there show your email and valid form of I.D. to an associate to pick up your order.
Can I add to my order after it’s been processed?
Yes, you can place another order online and pick up both orders at the same time. Or if your in-store an associate can help you add additional items.
When will I be charged for my order?
Your credit card is charged when you place your order.
How will I know my order is ready for pick up?
Your order is ready for pick up after you place your order and receive your order confirmation email. Please bring your order confirmation email and a valid form of ID with you when you pick up your items.
