How long should a mattress last?

A good mattress should last between 7 to 10 years, assuming the mattress is rotated on a regular basis. Keep in mind, our bodies change over time, and so do our comfort needs. So, a mattress purchased 7 years ago, may not provide the necessary support now required. If you wake up with aches or pains, or have issues staying to sleep at night, these may indicate that you need a new mattress.

What’s the difference between Pro Rated Warranty and Non-Pro Rated Warranty?

A Pro-Rated Warranty reduces the warranty amount each year for wear and tear. So, if it’s a 10-year Pro-Rated Warranty, 10% of the value is deducted each year until the value reaches zero. Non-Pro Rated Warranty offers the full warranty value throughout the term.

Should I buy used mattress?

Not recommended. The challenge with getting a used mattress is you don’t know what you are getting with it. Bed bugs, germs, virus, bacteria are just some of the things that are not visible to the naked eye but can be vary harmful to your health. Plus, your body style is different from the previous owner, so it may be "broken in" in all the wrong places and cause more pain than it's worth. If you are planning to purchase a used mattress, make sure you consider purchasing a health protector and bug barrier. However, its still safer to get a new mattress.

Why does the mattress feel different than the one tested in store?

The mattress you purchase will be different than the model you tested. The floor model in the store, has been tested by many customers, and will soften after time. The mattress you receive is brand new, direct from the manufacturer, never been opened. So, it could take up to 90 days for the mattress to soften and adjust to your body. This is completely normal.
