Many stores in the Canadian retail furniture market have gone overseas to have their products built in Asia to keep their retail prices low. The issue with this decision is that they’re giving up quality to get those lower prices. The wood in the frame is usually rotted or very flimsy, and in many cases the customer has to actually build their sofa once it arrives in a box.
