      We introduced a new line of brand name, quality furniture to our stores, items from the Home Furnishings line by Lane Furniture can now be found at Surplus Furniture & Mattress Warehouse Stores across Canada. Grand Openings! Well, we are almost halfway through 2014 already! You know what they say, time flies when you are having fun and oh, boy we are having FUN at Surplus Furniture and Mattress Warehouse this year! It has been an exciting and eventful year so far, having already opened 3 new store locations! We are so excited to welcome these new locations into our ever growing family and we wanted to take a few moments to introduce them to you! First up is our new location in Brantford, Ontario, a short one hour drive from Toronto. Brantford is also known as the Telephone City, since it is home of Alexander Graham Bell, the inventor of the telephone. It's also the birth place of Wayne Gretzky, Phil Hartman and Lawren Harris (from the Group of Seven).

There is more to our meaning of "The Surplus Difference". Bill Gill is the Store Manager in our Grand Falls Location and has been a valuable employee for two years. We're extremely excited to share his story: Before Surplus I had a couple of jobs. I started out at Canadian Tire and worked there for 22 yrs., spending 11 yrs. working in the hardware department; 7 of which was as dept. manager and 11 yrs. in the sports/seasonal dept. as dept. manager, and store key holder.
