New brand: Lane Furniture
We introduced a new line of brand-name, quality furniture to our stores: items from the Home Furnishings line by Lane Furniture can now be found at Surplus Furniture & Mattress Warehouse stores across Canada. These include great living room upholstery furniture such as recliners and sofa sets.
Oshawa, Ontario (February)
In February we opened our Oshawa location at 199 Wentworth St. West in Lake Vista Square, across from Shoppers Drug Mart and the LCBO. With Oshawa being the largest municipality in the Durham region, we wanted to add a store in the growing region to provide our loyal customers with our trustworthy services.
Nepean, Ontario (June)
In June we opened our Nepean location. Ottawa is Canada’s capital city and the home of government — but nestled in the thriving community of Nepean on the West end of Ottawa is Surplus Furniture and Mattress Warehouse. Located at 43 Roydon Place, just north of Highway 32 across from Costco.
Lethbridge, Alberta (October)
In October we opened our Lethbridge location. With stores already set up in Edmonton, Calgary, and Medicine Hat, we’re pleased to broaden our affordable pricing to the residents of Alberta with our newest store in Lethbridge. Surplus Furniture Lethbridge is located at 104 13th Street North, beside Dollarama and behind Canadian Tire.
Scarborough, Ontario (October)
Our 36th location also opened in October in Scarborough, Ontario, at 1973 Lawrence Avenue East — located between Warden and Pharmacy Avenue, across from the Pioneer Gas Station.
